Neil Pryde

Mark Agg-Jones - owner of "Spot on Water" when asked how he got on with his new Superlight mast.

I got to try the mast late on saturday night: simply beautiful.

My sail felt so alive!

A simply fantastic piece of equipment.

Thank you.

The 2012 Combat rigs very well on a x1000 mast, leech slightly loose, full lower draft

NEW TOOLS: NEILPRYDE ATLAS 2012+STILO 300
We have rigged and compared the new 2012 Neil Pryde ATLAS with the original X9 400 rdm mast and our Stilo300 400. The rigging compatibility is perfect, visually it's hard to asses any difference although by checking he lower section of the sail the Atlas rigged with MaverX Stilo 300 has a slightly deeper profile ( 1 cm ) an indicator that will give the sail more power (early planing)

The MaverX Daytona proved a excellent mast with the Pryde RS Racing EvoII, if anything it improved the feel of the sail over the X9Mast

There was no difference to the way the sail set compared to the recommended Neil Pryde X9 mast I didn't even need to alter the batten/cam tension. The next test was to take it on the water and race it against a identical sail but using a X9 mast. We did this and if anything the Daytona improved the sail in nearly every respect including cam rotation. In truth the differences were small but at that level of equipment you couldn’t realistically expect more.

Neil Pryde H2 and daytona mast - again a perfect combo

Colin Harris - Owner of Surfdock in Dublin, Stilo 300 with Neil Pryde Atlas 2011

"Myself and my friend Thibault had made a last minute decision on a slightly dubious forecast and headed up to Sligo in Irelands north west. When we arrived that morning there were some pretty solid sets coming through around the logo to mast high mark. Wind was super offshore and pretty light on the inside. As the tide dropped the waves got super hollow and really fun. I took off on a medium sized one. Surfed down the line and then just ran out of wave. With no power left in the sail I was left bogging way too deep on the reef and the next wave in the set came through and drilled me. When I came up my sail was in two pieces but my mast was fine!!

Top marks MaverX!!"

Jan Novak – Stilo 370 and 400 with Neil Pryde Combats 2008 – 2010

"The masts are both more then perfect. As I just move on from SDM to RDM, the difference I feel is awesome. The sails feel extremely light at hands with those masts. What is also good that they fit perfectly to my NP sails. Before I had to always set the base 2cm longer then the NP defines to get the perfect shape and twist. Now, having those masts, the problem
disappeared and I set the base exactly the same as the each single sails requires. A little problem is that the sails are also more powerful, so might consider buying smaller ones. Instead of 4.7 and 5.2 something like 4.5 and 5.0"

Rich - Stilo 300 with NP combats

I had a couple of sails over the weekend on borrowed NP combats 4.7, 5.3 using the mav stilo 300, it worked extremely well with them, very breathable and light feeling, it was pretty gusty saturday but could hold on no matter what, at times could of been on 4.2, nice mast!
